We chose to have an ecumenical service.
A Christian service led jointly by a Catholic priest and a Protestant pastor. The goal is not to merge the rites, but to foster dialogue between them: shared Bible readings, communal prayers, and a blessing given by both, each according to their own tradition. This format emphasizes what unites us, respects what sets us apart, and places our commitment at the heart of this unity.
No trip to City Hall—we already tied the knot on September 12, 2025. Since that happy day, we’ve been Mr. and Mrs. Silva.
Dress code
A chic, peaceful garden.
Just a little nod to our colors (a clutch, a ribbon, a shirt, a piece of jewelry...) and you’re in the spirit—no need for a full head-to-toe look. Since it’s September, don’t forget to bring a light sweater for later in the evening… and, most importantly, comfortable shoes to hit the dance floor!
* Baby monitors can stay off: kids are welcome until the reception, but starting at 7 p.m., it’s adults-only.
With glasses clinking and the dance floor heating up… we’d rather keep the little ones in a cool spot during the evening.
