Our meeting
Tours, March 28, 2019, at 5:00 p.m..
We had nearly a hundred missed opportunities: school exchanges, mutual friends, college parties, living in the same neighborhood… and yet, we were never there at the same time. And then our generation did its thing: Fruitz. Two grapes ready to “see where fate takes us.” Our story didn’t go in a straight line: questions, doubts, breakups, lots of love, listening, and learning. Almost six years later, we chose each other for good, for life and love.
+ 7 years of history

The request
Val Thorens, January 30, 2025, in the morning.
In our chalet right on the slopes, the slideshow “Elisa’s Guide” starts earlier than expected…
Last slide: the famous question. Between the meter of snow—which David described as “a blessing”—and the kneeling gesture that managed to surprise Elisa, the answer was yes.
Here's to life and love.

But, you know, I don't think there's such a thing as a good or bad situation.
If I had to sum up my life for you today, I’d say it’s all about the people I’ve met.
And that encounter took place in the very first days of my life.
Elisa is, above all, about memories. Our childhood, vacations, the carefree days of *Scooby-Doo*, *Mission Cleopatra*, or chicken tabbouleh.
And today she’s a sidekick—aka a life coach, aka a love coach, aka a whole lot of things. She’s someone you can laugh with and have a good time with.
Lives come and go, things change, but deep down, nothing really changes.
Elisa is a friend, a sister.

David is my little brother.
There were four of us growing up: an older brother, a sister…
and two boys who came along together to spice things up.
Naturally, that creates memories.
He’s funny. Really funny. He always has the perfect joke.
When we were kids, David would memorize jokes and come tell them to my brothers and me in his inimitable way. He’d laugh as he told them; sometimes he’d even have trouble finishing because he was laughing so hard. He thought he was funny, too 😄
Bien sûr, il y avait parfois des disputes… mais toujours avec beaucoup d’amour <3
David is the one who looks most like me.
At least physically—or so they say!
We’ve heard it often enough: same smile, same eyes…
I should point out, though, that I’m not the official twin 😅
Beyond all that, he’s sensitive, passionate, and incredibly endearing 🤍
